We crafted a unique exhibition stand for Avotakka, Finland's largest interior design magazine, for the Habitare Design Fair in 2022.
Our exhibition concept for the stand was centred around responsibility, sustainability, and reuse. The 5-meter-high, 130-square-meter pavilion was built using repurposed scaffolding and returned to the construction site after the exhibition. All other elements of the stand were also repurposed after the fair.
Rough, everyday scaffolding was creatively incorporated into the open space creating a captivating contrast against the polished furniture and plants. Our aim was to play with the indoor and outdoor spaces and moods, creating a memorable and immersive experience.
The pavilion was awarded the Habitare Stand of the Year in 2022, as judged by renowned British architect, curator, researcher, and journalist Joseph Grima.
