Our carefully curated materials range from novelties sourced from abroad to homegrown favourites, allowing visitors to test, try out and combine the materials. We strive to equip visitors with the tools to make informed decisions about materials, encouraging them to explore beyond surface-level features. In the pilot year, the exhibition stand was made of polycarbonate sheets, which were recycled after the fair into store structures for Vimma Tripla store concept. We collaborated with ABL Laatat to construct a stone shelf from a large slab and natural stone cuttings. The wooden floor manufacturer Timberwise crafted a display shelf out of parquet flooring according to our plans. Siparila, a wood product manufacturer, created a cloud-like compartment using its wall panels, and Durat, the composite board manufacturer, designed a tray table for textiles. The exhibition’s visual design was made by graphic designer Riikka Kuukka.
